Restaurant photographer, NYC.

We photograph New York restaurants the way your best table feels: warm, unhurried, a little imperfect in the right places. Openings, menus, interiors, portraits and press — shot observationally, hand-graded per client.

Photography that fills tables

People choose restaurants with their eyes. Long before they taste anything, they've scrolled your feed, opened your site, and judged the room by a handful of images. Our job as a restaurant photographer in NYC is to make those images tell the truth about your place — generously.

We work observationally: watch first, then shape. Interiors are lit to feel natural, warm and bright. Plates are photographed the way they actually leave the pass, not rebuilt by a stylist until they stop looking like food. And the people — chefs, owners, the floor — are photographed working, not posing.

  • Opening shoots

A complete visual library for a new room or a re-launch: space, plating, portraits, details. Usually one day on site, delivered in two weeks. This is our most common engagement — here's how we think about openings.

  • Menu & dish photography

Considered plate and drink photography for menus, delivery platforms, and press. Shot in your room, in your light, so it looks like your food.

  • Interiors & atmosphere

The room at its best hour. We scout the light before we shoot and supplement it only where it keeps the space feeling natural, warm and bright.

  • Chef & team portraits

Natural-light portraits of the people behind the work — posed, but never stiff. Made in the same visit.

  • Press & editorial

Press-ready selections sized and captioned for outreach. We're comfortable working with your publicist or directly with editors.

How much does restaurant photography cost in NYC?
Our opening shoots start at $4,500 for a full day on site with 30–50 finished images covering space, plating, portraits and details. Quarterly retainers start at $2,500 per shoot, and combined photo-and-film campaigns start at $9,800. Every project is custom-quoted.
How long does a restaurant photo shoot take?
A typical opening shoot is one full day on site. We photograph the room in its best light, plating during or after service, and portraits in between. Finished images are delivered about two weeks after the shoot.
Do you photograph during service?
Yes — some of the best frames happen mid-service. We work quietly and observationally, without disrupting your guests or your kitchen. We usually combine service coverage with dedicated time for plating and interiors.
Do we get usage rights for the images?
Yes. Standard licenses covering web, social, print and press are included. Broader campaign use is quoted per project.
